A solid, spacious 19th century Pembrokeshire former farmhouse, newly and lovingly renovated to the highest residential standards with wide, sweeping views over open rolling countryside to the sea and inland to the tower of Roch Castle high on the skyline.

Furnished and decorated with great attention to detail – luxurious locally made curtains, soft furnishings, carefully chosen light fittings and a variety of coloured glass door knobs to finish.

Trefrane House is next door to, but completely separate from Trefrane Lodge, with its own separate entrance, parking and gardens and the whole is set in 9 acres of land.

Queen Victoria’s favourite coal was once mined at Trefrane – there are no visible signs today but reputedly the miners could hear the sea crashing above them as they worked the seam which stretched far out under the waves.

Accommodation

4 Bedrooms, each ensuite, sleeping a maximum of 8. 2 doubles with shower rooms (shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin), 1 room with bunk beds and shower room (shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin), 1 twin/king (zip & link beds) with bath room (bath, toilet and washbasin). All on 1st floor.

Bedlinen provided. Please note that towels are NOT provided unless requested.

Kitchen fully fitted with oak cupboards, range cooker with gas hob and electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer.

Dining Room with table and chairs seating 12.

Lounge comfortable seating for 12, oak floor, log burning stove, 37” flat screen tv/dvd, cd/radio.

Grounds large enclosed garden, part gravelled/part grass area at front, side lawn reached via 5 steps. Garden furniture.

Ample Parking enclosed private car park.

Fuel oil central heating inclusive May – September £40 per week outside these dates. Starter pack of logs October to April.

Upon arrival

Self catering cottages

Cottages are available after 4pm on the day of arrival. When you arrive at your cottage you will find the key under a stone by the main entrance so please let yourselves in and make yourselves at home. Your beds will be made up ready for you and towels will be provided. We do ask that these are not taken out of the property to the beach etc however please.

We love dogs, and they are welcome by prior arrangement, but please don’t allow them on the furnishings and beds and we request that you clean up after your pet in consideration of future visitors. Thank you.

Glebe House

Your room will be available after 4pm on the day of arrival. We should be there to greet you however if there is no one at the house then you can contact us on 01437 710360 (you should get mobile reception from on the grassy bank!) alternatively you will find us at the Stables just up the lane or East Nolton Farmhouse and we will come down to welcome you.

Food Allergies and Intolerances

We would appreciate any guest who has a known food allergy or intolerance to let us know as soon as possible so that we can endeavour to cater for their needs.

We prepare a variety of foods in our kitchen and common allergens may be present but we are more than happy to give you information about ingredients used and sourcing of products so please just ask us.

Where possible we will provide alternatives and do whatever we can to make your stay comfortable.

Booking Conditions

Bookings are to be accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total holiday price. The full amount is payable if the booking is taken 4 weeks or less prior to the commencement of the holiday

We request that the full amount be paid 6 weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday for self - catering properties and 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday for package breaks and bed and breakfast bookings. Payment can be made by:

Cancellation

Should you wish to cancel your holiday with us less than six weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday for self catering holidays, and four weeks for package breaks and B&B, we shall endeavour to re-let the holiday. If we are successful then we will return all monies less the initial deposit . If we are unable to do so then you will be held liable for the full cost of your cancelled holiday.

We strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance when making a booking. We hope you have a wonderful holiday!

 

Nolton Stables provides quality holiday accommodation, both self catering and bed & breakfast, along with unique beach horse riding, zorbing and segway racing.

Located in the small village of Nolton we are easily accessible from Haverfordwest, and central to the west coast of Pembrokeshire.

The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is nearby, along with the coastal villages of Broadhaven, Little Haven, Newgale and Solva. Skomer Island is easy to reach from Nolton.
